About SAPience

SAPience_2025-026.jpg

The Belgian SAP community. Independent, peer-
driven, vendor-neutral.

SAPience brings together SAP-users from Belgian organisations — not to sell them something, but to give them something harder to find: honest peer exchange, real-world experience, and a community that has no agenda other than theirs.

We're a non-profit organisation, run by users, for users.

we've been connecting the Belgian SAP community for over two decades.

WHO WE ARE

A community of SAP users, not a conference company

SAPience is not an event organiser that happens to have members. We're a SAP user community that organises events because knowledge travels better between people than through brochures.

Our members are the people who work with SAP every day — end-users, functional leads, project managers, and technical teams within Belgian organisations, from large enterprises to mid-sized companies, across every major industry.

What holds them together isn't a job title. It's a shared interest in making SAP work better, in practice, for the organisations they work for.

Our place in the Belgian SAP ecosystem

The Belgian SAP ecosystem has three distinct layers — each serving a unique purpose.

SAP

SAP  sets the vision, the roadmap, and the technology that drives it all.

SAP Partners

SAP partners translate that vision into tangible projects, implementations, and valuable advice.

SAPience

SAPience connects SAP users directly — no vendor agenda, no commercial interest.

When you want to know how something works in theory, read the documentation. When you want to know how it actually landed in a comparable organisation — the workarounds, the real decisions — you ask a fellow SAP user, at SAPience, who has been through it.

No commercial interest. No vendor agenda. Just users talking to users.

About - SUGEN global.png

GLOBAL CONNECTION

Part of the global SUGEN network

SAPience is a member of SUGEN — the SAP User Group Executive Network — which connects national SAP user groups across the world. That means the insights our community generates don't stay in Belgium, and the best thinking from other markets finds its way back here.

It also means SAPience has a direct channel to influence SAP's global roadmap — through structured dialogue, formal feedback, and collective voice.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT

Run by the community, for the community

SAPience is governed by a volunteer board of SAP users who give their time because they believe in what independent peer exchange can do. They're supported by a small staff team that keeps things running.

No investors. No commercial parent. No hidden agenda.

Your peers are already at SAPience

Chances are, someone has already been through what you're dealing with right now.

A go-live you'd recognise. A licence negotiation with SAP went sideways. A project that took twice as long as planned. They've been there — and they're happy to talk.

And while you're at it, you'll stay sharp. New SAP releases, roadmap shifts, what's actually worth your attention — SAPience keeps you informed without the vendor spin.

You don't have to figure it out alone. The experience you're looking for is already in the room.

If that sounds useful — for you or your team — you're welcome to join.
