Ctac implements SAP at Vandeputte Group
Vandeputte Group, a leading European expert in safety and well being, recently went live with its SAP ERP system. SAP partner Ctac installed different SAP modules to support the commercial, logistical and financial processes within the Group. The important investment fits into Vandeputte Group's strategic plan for future growth and innovation.
Stefan Vandeputte, Vandeputte Group comments: "The switch to SAP was a well founded decision with the necessary preparations done in advance with a clear vision. We constantly work on optimizing our processes for both our own and our customer's needs. The choice for SAP fits with our ambition to continuously improve. Possibilities to be more exact on the availability of our products, the availability of broad product information, the advantages of an international collaboration platform, more e-business possibilities... these are just a few examples of what our new company system can offer. That the project was finished in less than 15 months -6 months of preparation and 9 months of implementation- are due to the fine collaboration with partner Ctac and to the necessary time we have invested with our employees in a thorough preparation."
Vandeputte Group today is operational with the following modules:`Warehouse Management' for complete logistical support, `Business Information Warehouse' for accurate reporting's and `Customer Relationship Management' system for the customer management and order processing. The company also decided to partially implement the SAP retail add-on. This increases the flexibility of the system and this specifically in the area of the business processes typical to the distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (Persoonlijke Beschermingsmiddelen, PBM's).
