Job Description
The GBS SAP Practice is currently looking to expand its practice with experienced SAP FI-CO Managing Consultant to meet growing demands from our clients.
The SAP FI-CO Managing Consultant in IBM Global Business Services acts mostly as a functional streamlead in SAP implementation projects for the end-to-end process Budget to Report (or Finance to Manage or Record to Report) and depending on the size of the engagement can manage a team of other consultants. As member of your project team, you will manage IBM colleagues (local as well as Global Delivery) ,client staff or resources from third parties.
• The SAP FI-CO Managing Consultant is accountable along with project manager for the success of his end-to-end process stream
• The projects are delivered to clients who usually act as key players in their respective market sectors in the BeNeLux and other ¬European countries
• The SAP FI-CO Managing Consultant performs an array of project-related activities, which include primarily:
o Winning the project - act as a SAP FI-CO SME and supporting sales closure
o Starting the project - Staffing, planning and engaging project resources
o Delivering the project - defining scope, work contents and schedules, preparing and managing workshops, producing, tracking and reporting deliverables, configuring and customizing SAP, managing scope, risk, issues, and change, applying project management processes and tools, managing customer expectations and satisfaction
o Closing the project - harvesting knowledge, defining, developing and pursuing further business opportunities
• The SAP FI-CO Managing Consultant professional in IBM Global Business Services has a unique opportunity to apply and further develop his/her leadership skills while working with teams of dedicated professionals who exhibit an unmatched combination of business consulting and system integration capabilities
• The SAP FI-CO Managing Consultant is on a permanent basis looking for new or enhanced features within the SAP Suite that could provide solutions to our customer's issues.

Requirements
You have an academic background or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. You have worked in a SAP FI-CO consulting role for more than 7 years. You have a good functional awareness of several other SAP modules. You have proven capabilities to manage medium or large international systems implementation and integration projects in the SAP FI-CO combining business consulting, technology, application software and infrastructure.
You have an extended proven consulting experience on SAP ERP Financials of more than 7 years in the area's of Financial Accounting (like New General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Contract Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting, Bank Accounting, Investment Management, ...), Management Accounting (like Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Product Cost Planning, Cost object Controlling, Actual costing/Material ledger, Project Accounting,...), Financial Supply Chain Management (like Electronic Bill Presentation and Payment, Collection Management, Credit Management and Dispute Management), Treasury (like Treasury and risk Management, Cash and Liquidity Management, ...) and Financial Analytics (reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting).
You have consulting experience in the SAP Business Intelligence solutions and/or SAP Enterprise Performance Management Solutions.
You possess the combination of analytical, communication and presentation skills that are essential for a business consultant. You are ambitious, enthusiastic and have a strong personality. You are able to quickly inspire and win confidence from both clients and colleagues and you are being regarded as a reliable advisor to both client business process team and client information systems team. You are a strong problem solver. You have the right balance between task and people orientation.
You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
